Nominations open for RCSA Industry Awards
After 2018’s record-breaking RCSA Industry Awards, the 2019 Australian and New Zealand editions promise to be red hot affairs as we highlight the brightest and best in the recruitment industry.
It’s time to dust off the suit, pull out the red tie, grab a new outfit and hit the dance floor at this year’s RCSA Industry Awards. This year’s Australian awards will be held at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf, in Sydney on June 20, with the New Zealand awards to be held at the Hilton Auckland on July 25.

The theme of this year’s event will be red as we celebrate the red hot achievements of those working in our industry who have excelled at what they do over the last year.
The 2018 awards was our biggest ever, with more awards nominations, more judges and the largest attendance we have had at an awards night to date.
And we are having a red hot crack at beating that this year and are inviting you to join us to honour our industry and those who continue to push the envelope.

South African-born New Zealand resident, comedian and TV personality Urzila Carlson (pictured right), a favourite on the New Zealand comedy circuit, will host this year’s New Zealand awards night.
Carlson has been a regular on New Zealand television in her roles on 7 Days, Super City and Road Madness and is now one of a host of comedians to be featured in a new Netflix series COMEDIANS of the world.
She is based in Auckland and has attracted international fame and accolades for her uncompromisingly funny views of the world.
Comedian, TV and radio host Tom Gleeson (pictured below) will MC the Australian event, bringing his unique and biting sense of humour to the awards.

From his early days in stand-up comedy to reaching the heights of success with Hard Chat, one of the most popular shows on Australian television, Gleeson has become a firm comedic favourite.
Following feedback from our members, this year we have invited more judges from outside of our industry to be involved in deciding the winners in each category.
“Last year we increased the number of professionals from outside of the recruitment and staffing sector to be judges of the awards,” RCSA CEO Charles Cameron explained. “This proved very popular with members enjoying having fresh input and perspective on the awards and nominees.
“We have again invited a number of leading professionals in the fields of HR and business to be judges this year, while also extending the invitation to some of our Life Members in recognition of their value to our industry and those who work within it.
“The awards night is particularly important to us as an industry association as it provides the opportunity to honour, applaud and encourage by example those who have contributed meaningfully to our sector in the last year.
“The competition for the awards, which have become an item of prestige, is always very strong and we know it will be a challenge picking just one winner in each category.”
