Tech and digital recruitment specialists, Talent International, which began as a modest Perth start-up in 1995, have been named as one of Gallup’s 2019 World’s Top 40 Great Workplaces.
Talent Founder and Executive Chairman Richard Earl said it was the only recruitment company internationally to make the list and one of only two Australian winners.
The accolade sits among a number of others picked up in the last year by Nielsen and his team. Last November, APAC CEO Mark Nielsen was named CEO Magazine’s CEO of the Year as well as taking home the Professional Services Executive of the Year Award for good measure.
Talent, which expanded into Sydney in 1999, opened offices in Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide between 2005 and 2007 and then expanded further into New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK and Europe, was also awarded a Gold Medal in HRD’s 2018 Employer of Choice Awards.
Talent was also named a Top Performing Company by HRD in the categories of Diversity and Inclusion, Remuneration and Career Progression and has picked up the APSCo Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
Earl said the award was wonderful acknowledgement of what has been a main focus of Talent since its conception 25 years ago.

Earl explained the Gallup award encompasses all industries and said it recognised Talent “as a world-leading company which has achieved exceptionally high levels of engagement through investing in its people to create a positive, supportive employee experience”.
