AMRANZ Bulletin

Welcome to the first edition of the AMRANZ Bulletin, a quarterly newsletter to help you stay up to date with what is happening in the medical recruitment space. These updates also aim to keep you abreast of what the council has been working on, on your behalf.
Recently this has included:
A submission to the National Specialist IMG Committee about regulatory body processes and timeframes issues and concerns;
Meeting with the RACGP Board Chair representatives to discuss member concerns about PESCI and PEP;
Breaking down the Labour Hire Licencing requirements for our members state by state;
Implementing a national state by state proactive procurement strategy;
Formation of the NZ Health Partnerships Contract working group; and
Work on refreshing AMRANZ social media profiles and a new RCSA website to improve communication with our members.
As you can see, the AMRANZ councillors have been kept quite busy. This is a great opportunity to thank our retiring councillors, Mike Adam, Megan Lewis, and James Hill, for their work on behalf of the industry. Their contributions will be celebrated at the RCSA annual general meeting next month.
From November your representatives will be:
Corrine Taylor FRCSA - CTBC - Co Chair
Richard Taylor - Wavelength International - Co Chair
Ryan Kevelighan MRCSA - 1Medical - New Councillor
Tracy McClenaghan – WorkPac
Michael Fernandes MRCSA – BluePrint Medical
Lawrence Eadie – Verus People
Siobhan McDonald – MedRecruit - New Councillor
Nichole Fitzgerald MRCSA - Aussie Locums
Martina Stanley – Alecto Australia Medical Recruitment
Ruth Miller - Global Medics and Medacs Global Group - New Councillor
To help us represent you, we want your feedback. We would love to hear your thoughts on the Bulletin and industry activity that you would like us to look at in the future.
