RCSA Industry Awards: Kaizen Recruitment Reflects on Winning Outstanding Small Agency 2021
Managing Director, Matt McGilton, provides some insights into the relationship-focused, high-performing culture that is at the heart of everything they do.
The RCSA Industry Awards recognise the best of the best in the recruitment industry and Kaizen Recruitment is proud to be announced the winner for Outstanding Small Agency 2021.
This RCSA award is our team’s second national industry award for the best specialist recruitment agency. It recognises our commitment to upholding the highest possible professional standards and providing exemplary service to our clients and candidates.
Winning this award is a great benchmark to review how we are doing against our peers in the industry. Considering 90% of all recruitment agencies in the Australian market have less than ten staff, to stand out in such a competitive and diverse field is a genuine accomplishment.
The RCSA awards challenged us to reflect on who we are, what we do, and how can we do things better. Critically, the awards measured our commitment to the recruitment industry, commitment to professional development, wellbeing, and inclusion and strategic achievement.
As specialist financial services recruiters, we remain steadfast in our connection and commitment to both the recruitment and financial services industries. Our focus on aligning our clients’ needs with candidate career aspirations has underpinned our strategic growth.
We’re grateful to serve the financial services industry which was deemed an essential service during COVID-19 and has grown significantly during this period.
Our team relationships are at the heart of everything we do. As a diverse and inclusive team, we have invested in building a high-performing culture based on shared values, genuine conversations and an agreed behavioural framework.
Kaizen is a Japanese word for ‘continuous improvement’, we adopt this philosophy in all elements of our business. It also links to our commitment to our team’s professional development with a significant and continual investment in learning and development. Our team are offered industry memberships, mentors, webinars, conferences, courses, and systems training, some of which the RCSA provide.
Winning this award requires a dedicated team aligning with a values-based culture. It is not doing one thing 10% better but rather 100 things 1% better all the time. Nothing of any significance can be achieved without a collaborative team effort.
Thanks again to the RCSA, and to all our candidates and clients that we have the privilege to serve.
